Enjoy Complimentary Business First Upgrades on Heathrow Express

Travellers holding Star Alliance Gold status with airlines like Singapore Airlines, United Airlines, Air Canada, Lufthansa, or any of the group’s 23 carriers can now enjoy a complimentary upgrade to the Business First class on the Heathrow Express. Starting June 2024, this offer also extends to one companion.

Key Benefits of Business First

  • More Legroom and Comfort: Business First carriages offer wider seats with more legroom, arranged in a 1-2 layout, some with personal tables.
  • Convenient Connectivity: Each seat is equipped with AC/USB sockets for device charging.
  • Less Crowded and Quieter: These carriages are typically less crowded and quieter than standard carriages, ensuring a more comfortable journey.

How to Claim Your Upgrade

To enjoy this benefit, purchase a standard class ticket and proceed to the Business First carriage. When the conductor checks your ticket, present your Star Alliance Gold card or digital card from your airline’s app. Note that this upgrade applies to full fare standard class tickets, but many frequent flyers report successful upgrades even with advance fare tickets.

Travel Efficiently

With trains running every 15 minutes and a 15-minute journey from Heathrow to Paddington Station, the Heathrow Express is the fastest way to travel between the airport and central London. The new Elizabeth Line also offers an alternative for Travellers, but the complimentary upgrade on the Heathrow Express remains a premium choice.

Take advantage of this exclusive offer and enhance your travel experience with a complimentary upgrade to Business First on the Heathrow Express. Whether you’re heading to London for business or leisure, this benefit ensures a more enjoyable and efficient journey.
